In context
How big is iPhone 15 Pro Max, really?
Of the 34 iPhones on this site, iPhone 15 Pro Max is the 24th smallest by the size of its front (159.9 × 76.7 mm), the 26th lightest at 221 g, and has the 6th largest screen at 6.7 inches. That puts it with the large iPhones, which most people use with two hands.
Its 6.7-inch display is about 71.3 × 154.5 mm (worked out from the diagonal and its 2796 × 1290 pixel grid), so the screen covers roughly 90% of the front. The front camera and Face ID sensors sit in the Dynamic Island, a pill-shaped cut-out that also shows live activity. At 460 pixels per inch, individual pixels are not visible at a normal viewing distance.
Against iPhone 14 Pro Max (2022), the model it followed, it is 0.8 mm shorter and 19 g lighter, the chip moves from A16 Bionic to A17 Pro.
